How involved do you see yourself in the design process?

Very involved. I have ample free time and enjoy "the hunt" for the perfect piece. I envision myself shopping alongside my designer for my furnishings. I like to see a wide variety of options for the components of my design. I can schedule my own painters, wallpaper installers, and other contractors. If it means a lower cost, I can also order my own furnishings, receive them at my home, unbox, inspect, assemble items, and discard the trash myself.Mildly involved. I prefer my designer to present a few options of each element that I can choose from. I can manage some aspects of my project, but would prefer my designer to oversee the majority of the logistics. I see value in hiring someone else to handle my ordering, receiving, and installation.Not very involved. I want to explain my target aesthetic and approve the design plan, but would prefer someone else to execute it. My ideal design experience is walking into a turn-key space where everything is already finished for me- HGTV style.
